Ever since the release of Far Cry 4, fans have been eager for the release of a Far Cry sequel. Ubisoft came up with Far Cry Primal, a game set in the Stone Age. Although the game received positive reviews from critics, fans were still rooting for a Far Cry game set in modern day period, just like previous games in the series. Their wishes came true when Ubisoft officially announced Far Cry 5 at E3 2017. The game is set to be released on March 27, 2017 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Ubisoft has officially revealed the system requirements for Far Cry 5 which is as follows –

Minimum (720p Low) :

RAM : 8 GB

Processor : Intel Core i5-2400 @ 3.1 GHz or AMD FX-6300 @ 3.5 GHz or equivalent

Video Card : Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 or AMD R9 270 (2GB VRAM with Shader Model 5.0 or better)

Operating System : Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 (64-bit versions only)

Recommended (1080p High) :

RAM : 8 GB

Processor : Intel Core i7-4770 @ 3.4 GHz or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.2 GHz or equivalent

Video Card : Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 or AMD R9 290X (4GB VRAM with Shader Model 5.0 or better)

Operating System : Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 (64-bit versions only)
